| Project Description: | The site of the project will be relocated and upgraded from Mussafah are to ICAD II, the plot is 280 facing the sea the gross plot area is about 25,000 sq.m. Project GFA 11,818 sq.m.
The project consist of design of relocation and construction new Marine factory which consist of: •Shipyard for repairing ships – the ship yard is 30m span 22m height and 40m length, the ship yard shall be relocated from Mussafah to ICAD II. •Jetty area for ship repair, the Jetty is facing the ship yard, 400 tons Crane will be operational in that area, the path and the routing if the crane shall be studied. •MTU workshops, the building will be 40m span, 22 m height and 180m length, the workshop will contain several areas for ship motors repair and erection, washing maintenance and upgrading. The building is also containing special area for classified activities, the building is being served by two 30tons crane. •Motors test bench building, the building will be upgraded from the current one test bench to double test with all required facilities of cranes and sound heat isolation in addition of the special consideration of emergency cases due to any possibility of fire or motor malfunction in addition to the special preparation of MEP works to exchange the air inside the building in externally fast period. |
